YQG Business is a local business directory serving Windsor-Essex, Ontario. We operate at yqgbusiness.ca and can be reached at connect@yqgbusiness.ca.

- Information you provide: When you submit your business to our directory, we collect your business name, owner name, email address, phone number, address, website, and any description you provide. If you contact us directly, we retain your name, email, and message.
- Information collected automatically: Like most websites, we may collect standard server log data such as your browser type, IP address, and pages visited. We use this only for site performance and security.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Create and publish your business listing in the YQG Business Directory
- Contact you about your listing status or any questions about your submission
- Respond to messages sent through our contact form
- Send occasional updates about the directory if you've opted in
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Business Listing Data
Information you submit for your business listing — including your business name, address, phone number, and website — may be displayed publicly in the directory. This is the intended purpose of the submission. If you wish to update or remove your listing, contact us at connect@yqgbusiness.ca.
Third-Party Services
Our site uses the following third-party services:
- Google Maps: Used to display business locations. Google's privacy policy applies to map interactions. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Airtable: We use Airtable to store and manage submitted business information. Data is stored on Airtable's servers. See airtable.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address. See policies.google.com/privacy.
Cookies
YQG Business does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Any cookies set are strictly functional (e.g., remembering your preferences on this site). Third-party services like Google Maps may set their own cookies governed by their respective privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain submitted business information for as long as your listing is active. If you request removal, we will delete your personal information within 30 days. Contact data from our contact form is retained for up to 12 months.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent for us to display your business listing
